Cloud Computing

The buzzword nowadays seems to be 'CLOUD COMPUTING' !! But what is it ?? The following video gives a brief overview by the experts as to what cloud computing is!!

    This is a really interesting video; not to clarify what cloud computing is but actually to add more confusion. On the other hand, just like any other buzz word/tech, people have all kinds of understandings, expectations, and hypes (see Gartner's hype cycle). So what is cloud computing? Are we back to the centralized computing?

    @Prof Zheng : From what i can gather as off now
    "Cloud" is basically a term used to denote the "Internet" (since in many network diagrams the internet is depicted as a Cloud) so any application which runs in the cloud or uses the infrastructure of the cloud is said to be based on the Cloud Platform
